We don't have installer partners signed up yet. When one covers your area, we'll tell you who they are and only pass your details on if you say yes. Read our privacy notice.

  • Nothing to pay us, and no obligation
  • Your details only go to an installer you've agreed to by name
  • Plug-in kits for homes in England, Scotland and Wales

*Our estimate for the Max 1260W plug-in kit in a busy four-person home (someone in all day, washing and dishwasher run in daylight), facing south with no shade, using 70% of what it makes at today's price cap rate of 26.32p per kWh. That's around £1,760 over 10 years and £3,430 over 20. See how we work it out.

Rooftop and battery

Panels on the roof, without the legwork

A big sunny roof can carry far more panels than a plug-in kit, and a home battery lets you keep power for the evening. Tell us about your home once and we'll come back to you, instead of you filling in form after form.

Quick answers

Does a quote cost anything?

No. Asking us is free and doesn't commit you to anything.

Do you fit solar panels?

No, we don't fit anything ourselves. For rooftop solar and batteries we're signing up installers, and we'll only pass your details to one after you've agreed to them by name. Plug-in kits are made for you to set up yourself, with our set-up call to help.

What is a plug-in solar kit?

Solar panels on a stand with a small microinverter that plugs into a weatherproof outdoor socket. It sends up to 800W (799VA) into your home while the sun's on it, and your home uses that power first.

Do I need an electrician for a plug-in kit?

Not to set it up. You need a weatherproof outdoor socket within 4m and modern RCD protection in your fuse box. If you haven't got those, or you're not sure, an electrician can fit the socket or check the fuse box.

Where can I use a plug-in kit?

In homes in England, Scotland and Wales, one kit per household. Kits can't be used in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands, and our kits aren't for balconies.

How will I pay?

For a plug-in kit, by card on our secure checkout once kits go on sale. For rooftop solar or a battery, you agree the price and how you pay directly with the installer you choose.
